n.1: If you can sleep in, sleep in!
This morning The Boyfriend and I took an hour and a half to get out of bed. We were just laying there, talking and laughing. At around 10.30am, we finally decided we should get up.
n.2: Go for brunch!
I don't know what it is, but brunch always makes it feel like it's a Sunday. And subsequently makes me feel a little more relaxed. Bacon and eggs on toast = AWESOME!
n.3: Relaxing with a bit of reading!
I love, love, LOOOOVE to read! However in the past couple of weeks, the only things I've been able to read are papers for research and blog posts for more research...
The rest of my reading time is spent in trains, with my tiny iPhone.
So when I get to sit down and read blogs for an hour on an actual couch, I am in heaven!
n.4: Take a walk!
Autumn has arrived, and in the past week the weather has been dreadful. But today, gorgeous Autumn made an appearance and we took full advantage of it.
n.5: Have a drink the alcoholic kind!
My alcoholic drink of choice is Pear Cider. Yummy! Had a bottle whilst cooking dinner. It was magnificent.
n.6: Lay in bed, with a cup of hot chocolate and your favorite T.V show!
Is there anything better than that? I think not! Especially when it's raining and a little chilly out!
n.7: Do your laundry!
I might me one of the rare people who actually enjoys doing laundry, which is why I put it in this list. For some reason, doing laundry just makes me feel happy inside. Clean clothes in preparation for the coming week... Always awesome.
If you're more like the rest of the women out there who hate laundry, then this is the relaxing list simply because if you get it all done, it's one less thing to stress about during the week!
n.8: Enjoy some peach and quiet
There's nothing more peaceful and relaxing than enjoying an evening all by yourself in an empty home. It's really my favorite way of recharging!
What do you do to relax in preparation for a crazy week?
